Steven C. Ajluni, M.D. F.A.C.C. is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialty board of Cardiovascular Disease. A graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Dr. Ajluni completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. He then completed a cardiology fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak, where he served as Chief Cardiology Fellow and Chief Interventional Fellow.
Terry R. Bowers, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.V.M. is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialty board of Cardiovascular Disease. A graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Bowers completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota Hospitals in Minneapolis. He completed his cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital- Royal Oak, where he served as Chief Cardiology Fellow in his last year. In addition, he completed a peripheral interventional and vascular medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio.
David R. Cragg, M.D., F.A.C.C. is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialty board of Cardiovascular Disease. A graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Dr. Cragg completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Michael J. Gallagher, M.D., F.A.C.C. is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialty board of Cardiovascular Disease. He is also certified by the National Board of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, and is a graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine. Dr. Gallagher completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Michigan State University’s Grand Rapids campus and his Clinical Cardiology Fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak, where he served for one year as Chief Cardiology Fellow. He completed one additional year of advanced training in Cardiovascular MRI/CT imaging at William Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak.
Akhil Gulati, M.D., F.A.C.C., is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology and Internal Medicine, as well as being a board-certified Diplomate of the National Board of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He attended Northwestern University for undergrad and received his medical degree from the University of Illinois. Dr. Gulati went on to do his Internal Medicine Residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois and both his Cardiovascular and Interventional Cardiology Fellowships at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center (Tufts University School of Medicine) in Boston.
Ilana B. Kutinsky, D.O., F.A.C.C. is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialty board of Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology. A graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Dr. Kutinsky completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO. She then completed a Cardiology Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine and Electrophysiology at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, CO. Dr. Kutinsky was an Assistant Clinical Professor at University of Colorado prior to coming home to Michigan.
Brian M. Renard, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialty boards of Cardiovascular Disease, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and Echocardiography. Dr. Renard will also be sitting for his Interventional Cardiology board’s in November of 2019. A Cum laude graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Medicine in Washington D.C., Dr. Renard completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan Hospital. He completed his Cardiovascular and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and served as Chief Interventional Cardiology Fellow in 2018.
Daniel A. Tim, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialty boards of Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. A graduate of The University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston School of Medicine, Dr. Tim completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. He then completed both Clinical Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at William Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak. He is also board certified in Echocardiography and Cardiac CT.
Brian D. Williamson, M.D., F.A.C.C. is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialty board of Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Williamson graduated summa cum laude from Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan Hospitals, Ann Arbor, where he served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. In addition, Dr. Williamson completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine and Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Michigan Hospitals, Ann Arbor.
Talia joined Beaumont Michigan Heart Group in October 2019. Talia earned her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry as well as her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Detroit Mercy. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA). Talia sees patients at Beaumont Michigan Heart Group and she also rounds at William Beaumont Hospital-Troy and Royal Oak.
Kim joined Beaumont Michigan Heart Group in January 2019. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Michigan State University and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA). Kim sees patients at Beaumont Michigan Heart Group and she also rounds at William Beaumont Hospital-Troy and Royal Oak.

Kristy earned her Bachelor of Science from Central Michigan University and her Master of Science as a Physician Assistant from the University of Detroit Mercy. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA). Kristy sees patients at Michigan Heart Group and she also rounds at William Beaumont Hospital-Troy and Royal Oak.
Lisa joined Michigan Heart Group in April 2017. Lisa received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Madonna University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Oakland University. She is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Lisa sees patients at Michigan Heart Group and she also rounds at William Beaumont Hospital-Troy and Royal Oak.
